Scope of Work:
Construction of Green Hydrogen Plant in Jordan.

Description:
The project in the Southern Jordanian port of Aqaba will cost around $1.6 billion and is expected to be completed within 3-4 years after it is launched. This vital project will help Jordan enter sectors which rely on ammonia and hydrogen and will also attract qualitative investments to the country.


Events:
October 2023- Jordan has signed an agreement with a local company for the construction of a green hydrogen plant in the Kingdom. Energy & Mineral Resources Ministry signed the memorandum of understanding with Jordan Green Ammonia Company in Amman. The Company would conduct a feasibility study for the project before a final agreement is signed with the government.
