Grain Ethanol Tender

Scope : To Set up Grain-Based Ethanol Unit and 15 MW Co-Generation Power Plant at Lohat of Pandaul in the Madhubani district of Bihar.

Aaditri Agrotech has achieved financial closure for its grain-based ethanol unit with a capacity of 500 klpd and 15 MW Co-generation power plant at Lohat of Pandaul in the Madhubani district of Bihar.

The proposed unit, with a capacity of 250 klpd, will be built in two phases. Phase I will cost Rs 300 crore, while Phase II will cost Rs 200 crore.

The unit will spread over 50 acres of land parcel. The project expects to generate direct employment for 250 individuals and indirect employment for 74 people. The company has appointed Powertec Engineering as a Project Management Consultant for the project.

In December 2021, Aaditri Agrotech received environment clearance from MoEF.

The company is awaiting mandatory approvals from Odisha Mining Corporation on the project.

The work on the project is expected to commence by Q1/FY24.
