📋 Tender Overview
Glosing Tunnel
The Glösinger Tunnel will be expanded for double-track operation with a track spacing of four meters and two escape routes. The existing cross-section had to be enlarged for the installation of the new reinforced concrete inner shell, the foundations and the two tracks. The tunnel will therefore be widened by demolishing the old vault masonry and underlying rock. The new length of the tunnel will be 694 meters instead of the previous 685 meters.
Freieoh Tunnel
The Freiohler Tunnel will continue to be passable on two tracks. At the north portal, the tunnel will be extended by around eight meters to 658 meters. In order to be able to guarantee reliable train traffic in the future, the tunnel tube will be widened for a track spacing of four meters. This allows lateral escape routes to be established. In addition, the tunnel tube will be equipped with a new inner shell made of reinforced concrete.
