📋 Tender Overview
Objectives
The aim of the OSCAR project is to develop a novel Digital Training Hub by which youth trainers can exploit a range of training resources to empower and motivate youth to adopt sustainable behaviors and make informed choices regarding the disposal and consumption of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE), thereby reducing electronic waste and its environmental impact.
Activities
The following activities will be implemented:
1. Management Activities for the effective project implementation;
2. Development of the Training Resources To Motivate Youths on Properly Handling e-Waste;
3. Development of An Open 'e-Waste Management' Digital Training Hub;
4. Dissemination and Exploitation activities including the National Youth Competitions and Youth e-Waste Awareness Events to raise awareness and enhance the project impact.
5. Three TPMs and one Workshop to train youth trainers
Impact
R1. Training Resources: A comprehensive OSCAR Curriculum, forming the foundation of the e-waste training course which will include engaging training materials to motivate youths on properly handling e-waste.
R2. An Open 'e-Waste Management' Digital Training Hub: A dynamic online platform offering resources and content developed in multiple languages, fostering youth empowerment and education on sustainable practices in handling EEE waste.
