Objective and Summary
The object of the Project is to mitigate and adapt to climate change, conserve, and restore ecosystems by ecosystem-based climate change measures, biodiversity conservation and restoration, livelihood improvement activities and institutional strengthening, thereby contributing to sustainable socio-economic development in West Bengal. The Project will contribute to the achievement of SDGs Goal 1,5,13, and 15.
Planned Implementation Schedule
1. Completion of project: March 2031– when all the activities are completed
2. Issuing of letters of invitation for consulting services (including project supervision): May 2023
3. Tender announcement of initial procurement package for international competitive bidding on project construction: No international competitive bidding is planned under the project.
