Scope : Construction of Five Underground Stations at KMC (Kilpauk), Sterling Road JN, Nungambakkam, Gemini (Anna Flyover), Thousand Lights and Thousand Lights crossover box and the works of two underground stations at Royapettah government hospital (Roy Apettah) and Chetpet Metro of CMRL under Phase-II in Tamil Nadu
Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has received letter of acceptance (LoA) from Chennai Metro Rail (CMRL) for the construction of underground stations of Corridor-3 for the Phase-II project.
The order is the construction of five underground stations at KMC (Kilpauk), Sterling Road JN, Nungambakkam, Gemini (Anna Flyover), Thousand Lights and Thousand Lights crossover box and the works of two underground stations at Royapettah government hospital (Roy Apettah) and Chetpet Metro of CMRL under Phase-II.
The construction of these five underground stations, which costs Rs 1,730.6 crore, is expected to be executed in 57 months from the appointed date.
