Project Description
The provision of a senior unsecured loan of up to $30 million to Golomt Bank JSC ("GB" or "Golomt") under the Financial Intermediary Framework ("FIF") ("MSME Loan"). The MSME Loan will be provided in two equal tranches, of which the second will be uncommitted.
Project Objectives
The operation will support financing for eligible micro, small and medium-sized enterprise ("MSME") sub-borrowers in accordance with the EBRD's FIF Policy Statement.

The project will contribute to the objectives of the FIF, by supporting its Competitive and Resilient transition qualities. It will promote prudent, commercial risk-based lending to private MSMEs in Mongolia, with a special focus on the regional outreach and new MSME clients.
