Description:
This grant funds a feasibility study and pilot project for PT Geo Dipa Energi to support U.S. exports to extract lithium from geothermal brine at the Dieng geothermal field in Central Java, Indonesia, and process the extracted lithium into battery-grade lithium carbonate (Study). The Study would pilot sole-source contractor Lilac Solutions' patented ion-exchange direct lithium extraction technology with the goal to implement a full-scale lithium extraction project at the Dieng facility.
