Project Description and Rationale : In accordance with the Town's Active Transportation Master Plan, the town has an objective to preserve and enhance its active transportation network. The town-wide condition assessment of asphalt multi-use pathways within the town's road right-of-ways is completed every five years. The last assessment was completed in 2017. The condition assessment determines the existing conditions and develops a rehabilitation strategy through the identification of individual pathway rehabilitation projects to be included in the capital budget.
