The EUfinDiAlog Jean Monnet module focuses on finance in the digital era and aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogues for European integration in higher education. The module caters to EQF level 5 and 6 beneficiaries, academicians, and practitioners, addressing both finance and non-finance audiences. It explores monetary and EU relations, emphasizing that finance is integral to all aspects of life. The design encourages interdisciplinary dialogue, bringing diverse participants together to create common values. Three courses, supported by modern teaching methods, aim for transparency and accountability. Guest speakers from various fields promote inclusivity, breaking down traditional barriers. The module, developed through extensive needs analysis, undergoes continuous improvement, considering its impact on national frameworks and program outcomes. The 36-month project cycle incorporates Plan B for sustainability, and social media is leveraged for knowledge dissemination beyond the project's lifespan, aiming to have a lasting impact beyond geographical boundaries. The design emphasizes learning from failures and adapting to the demands of the digital era.
Experts from various fields will be invited as guest speakers in the course module to show that everyone can meet on common grounds within the framework of respect. Pre-accepted, learned divisions on dialogue barriers such as men and women, young and old, local and foreign, will be removed as participants from a wide range of backgrounds will talk about money and the European Union. This module has been designed as a result of a long and deep needs analysis and is being examined with a view dedicated to continuous improvement. The future of finance is expected to be digital, and the module is designed to include courses focused on upcoming trends. The module will integrate traditional financial knowledge with future perspectives, exploring how it can shape the world. Successful candidates are awarded certificates.
