Project Description
Etana is a leading pharmaceutical company in Indonesia with vaccine and pharmaceutical products focused on the treatment and prevention of various (i) non-communicable diseases, including cancer and kidney disease, and (ii) infectious diseases. The Project will support the Company’s expansion plans to increase local production capacity of vaccines and biological drugs.
Associated Advisory Engagement
Over the past three years, Etana had participated in (i) the Indonesian Health Sector Growth Program (#608036), which aims at bolstering greater private sector-led healthcare manufacturing in Indonesia, and (ii) the ASEAN Vaccine Development and Manufacturing Research Project (#178092), which aims at strengthening the commercial viability of regional vaccine production and enhance coordination among countries in Southeast Asia for vaccine procurement.
