Objective
The aim of the program is to create a prepared, motivated and inspiring community of students who can represent EU values and strengthen European identity and active citizenship among their fellows and teachers.
The 36 months program we are going to organize in each school year, starting in September and finishing in June. During the 62 lessons each school year we provide to students, we develop their interpersonal, foreign language and communication and problem-solving skills through the sessions, develop their self-image, and strengthen their mindset about the European Union. The students help to their peers and each other in order to make the most effective use of international experience opportunities, to inform them about the about the international professional practice and competition opportunities that are available to schools, give them motivation.
They, as ambassadors has a deep knowledge about EU institutions, understanding of the EU, its history, values, objectives as well as the institutions, decision making processes which influence the daily lives of young Europeans.
Our responsibility in education is also an essential part of the program, the development of global thinking is necessary in order for our students to be able to critically examine various social situations affecting them.
Through various teaching methods (online sessions, visiting EU organisations and meeting EP representatives, visiting university student organisations, team-building activities, teacher-student session, training, presentations, debates, workshops, brainstorming, collaborative
learning, co-teaching) we would like our student community to present their ideas and program to their peers, teachers and other schools in Hungary and promote European identity and values in a wider perspective.
To motivate students for active participation, each of them who successfully finish the program will be able to participate on study visit in Brussels meeting EP representatives.
