π Tender Overview
Enabling The Next-Generation Of Computational Physicists And Engineers
Training Programme For Advanced Computer Technologies And Methodologiesthe Rapid Development Of Advanced Computer Technologies And Methodologies Require Adequately Trained Researchers. The Eu-Funded Engage Project Will Train 20 Early-Stage Researchers (Esrs) In High Performance Computing, Data Science Approaches Such As Machine And Deep Learning, And Quantum Computing (Qc), And In Solving Problems Ranging From Physics To Engineering. The Esrs Will Learn To Use Mathematical Modelling, Design Scalable Algorithms, And Understand Computer Architectures And The Principles Of Qc. They Will Use Neural And Tensor Networks To Analyse And Extract Information From Large Complex Data Sets Obtained In High Energy Experiments And Synchrotron Light Facilities. The Beneficiary Is The Cyprus Institute That Has Established An Interdisciplinary Phd Programme In Computational Sciences.
