Scope :
Emerald Offshore Project is a 1,000MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in Celtic Sea, Ireland. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in multiple phases. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2030.
The project is being developed by Simply Blue Energy Kinsale and is currently owned by Simply Blue Energy.
The project is expected to generate 3,370,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 803,000 households. The turbines will be mounted on a floating type foundation.Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2030.
