π Tender Overview
Objectives
EGIS intends to enrich the practice of educational gardens by using them as open-air classrooms to raise awareness of investing in inclusion, study, self and environment for future generations to ensure better living and, long-term, job prospects. How? Through methodological, didactic, educational, interdisciplinary learning packages in digital format for implementation in gardens, enabling all students, even those with fewer chances or disabilities, to learn in an easy, fun and practical way.
Activities
a. Research on inclusive informal educational environments and the optimization of rural practices for educational and training purposes.
b. Conception, design and implementation of the new EGIS non-formal learning model that will use notions, methods and tools from agriculture to develop inclusion and soft skills.
