The programme will contribute to improvements in studentsβ learning by introducing gender sensitive teacher education, improving school-based reading programmes, and minimising learning gaps caused by c-19 by testing and scaling up low tech blended learning tools for all children. It will strengthen the education system both at all levels by improving national student learning assessments. It will develop integrated data systems to enable evidence-based decisions, policy reforms and resource allocations. It will support interventions to improve girlsβ retention at school by disseminating information on the benefits, costs, and quality of education; integrating gender approaches in national curricula, teacher training, learning assessment; and demonstrating successful girlsβ education retention models.
