Scope Doganli 1 is an 118MW hydro power project. It is planned on Zap riverbasin in Hakkari Turkey. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2024 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2027.DescriptionThe project is being developed and currently owned by DC Hidro Enerji Uretim Anonim Sirketi.The total number of penstocks pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station is expected to be 1 in number. The penstock length will be 375m. The project is expected to generate 393 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around 326.9m.Development StatusThe project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2027.
