Project Summary
The PPFS EG-3 studies about trade and market enhancement. It was discussed and agreed at the PPFS meeting during SOM1 in Guangzhou, PRC, that the study would be conducted relevantly to 14c) of the Implementation Plan of the Food Security Roadmap Towards 2030 .
Through this a self-funded project, Japan supports the effort of EG-3 to make survey on opportunities anticipated and challenges faced by private sector. This includes facilitating a dialogue with various private sector persons particularly from developing economies, building preliminary research and consultations.
With reference to the result of this dialogue, a questionnaire will be finalized and sent out to MSMEs including producers and their cooperatives. The responses will be aggregated and reported to PPFS, and used for possible collective discussions and learnings in the future.
