Project Description
The provision of a loan of up to US$ 10m to finance the Empire Manufacturing Kazakhstan (EMK) working capital needs, as an addition to the existing capital expenditure loan (as described below).
The existing capital ependiture loan was signed in February 2025. The proceeds were used to finance the construction, equipment and placing into operation of the new plant in Kazakhstan.
Project Objectives
The proceeds of the Bank's investment will be used for the construction, equipment and placing into operation of the new plant of EMK to be located in Khorgos Free Economic Zone, Kazakhstan, and financing of working capital needs, including repayment of intragroup loans used by EMK for working capital needs.
