Objectives
The Consortium objective is to increase the awareness and practical skills in detecting disinformation among EU citizens, to make the society aware of methods for detecting disinformation on the Web and social media. At the same time we will increase the audience of reliable information by making the society aware of how false information is spread and encourage them to verify, using the Disinformation Detection Service for AI-Supported Education, the information before it is shared with others.
Activities
The project has 5 WPs: Management, Course development, Disinformation detection service for AI-Supported education, implementing the course and the service in 20 curricula at universities for BSc, MSc and PhD studies courses, internal and international dissemination. There will be 5 direct meetings and at least 20 virtual. Among direct 2 training for teachers and summer school. We will create a dataset of at least 7.200 articles written in English and at least 14.400 evaluations of articles.
Impact
Main project results are:
1. The course and methodology how to verify the credibility of information,
2. The dataset of at least 8.000 verified articles written in English,
3. Disinformation detection service for AI-Supported education,
4. Updated curricula at Partners universities.
Other outcomes:
1. Active university-business partnerships,
2. Active cooperation between Partners,
3. Common publications,
4. Opportunity to create new consortia
5. Transsectoral cooperation with Youth and VET.
