Scope of WorkTo Develop Anchor Benitoite an industrial complex at Egypts Suez Canal Economic Zone SCZone.Description This project is expected to contribute to the countrys gross domestic product GDP growth and to attract foreign direct investment FDI as well as to support petrochemical projects. Under this project various derivatives and petrochemical products including olefin and polyolefin will be produced which is expected to enhance the economic value of natural gas derivatives. Moreover the company seeks gradual expansion in producing other integrative products. New project is expected to help increase foreign direct investment by around 790 million and create more than 2500 new direct and indirect jobs in addition to the estimated 5000 jobs during construction. The project will also help increase annual chemical domestic production by 812000 tons.Previous Events August 2022- Anchorage Investments has shortlisted four international contractors in the second phase of the EPC engineering procurement and construction tender for the Anchor Benitoite project. The four firms are Hyundai Engineering Construction Company HDEC Samsung Engineering Company of South Korea Technip Energies of Italy and Technicas Reunidas of Spain.October 2021- Anchorage Investments plans to develop an industrial complex at Suez Canal Economic Zone SCZone at a value of 2.5 billion.March 2022- Anchorage Investments will issue the Pre-Qualification Requirements PQR prospectus in mid-March as the first stage of the EPC tendering process. December 2021- Anchorage Investments appointed Duff Phelps as financial advisor in preparation for the financial closure phase in the development of The Anchor Benitoite a unique 2.5 billion industrial complex in the Suez Canal Economic Zone.
