Location Quintana Roo Type of investment GreenfieldSubsector TourismActive Beach 2.97 km Scope The project consists of extracting with self-propelled dredges sand from an environmentally authorized marine bank for subsequent dumping in the coastal area of Cancn Norte. The objective is to create enough beach widths to preserve the Federal Maritime Terrestrial Zone ZOFEMAT and protect the existing infrastructure. The project considers a length of 2.97 km as well as the filling of two pits detected during the characterization of the site. A total of 1508510 m3 of sand will be dumped in addition to the construction of two structures whose main function is to support the beach widths on the rehabilitated front.
