Scope :
Construction of fifth phase of its long-running Dar es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project.
The project entails the development and expansion of bus lanes, roads, bus stations, depots and terminals, and pedestrian bridges across Dar es Salaam to improve the public transportation network.
The scope of work includes upgrading the existing road from two lanes to four lanes, construction of embankments, drainage structures involving bridges, box culverts, pipe culverts and pavement layers, and ancillary works.
Package B covers the construction of depots, terminals and feeder stations.
The fifth phase is being supported by the French Development Agency (AFD).
