constructing tunnels between the West Coast station (CR18) and Jurong Lake District station (CR19). The contract includes the construction of twin bored tunnels, each extending 2.4 km. The construction is scheduled to commence in the last quarter of 2024.
CRL is the eighth mass rapid transit (MRT) line in Singapore. It is being developed in three phases, which will collectively span over 44 km. Phase 2 will span 15 km and cover six stations (all underground). Phase 2 is expected to be operational by 2032.
