Description: This funding is for planning, design and construction of the Coomera Civic Hub (Community Centre, Library and Cultural facility), the City's first regional facility to service the needs of the northern Gold Coast. The catchment area is forecast as the highest growth area for the City. The average annual population growth rate in the Coomera region is 8.9%, compared with 2.3% for the City. Almost 10% of the predicted new residents in the City to 2041 will settle in Coomera.
