π Tender Overview
Scope of Work:
To Develop 121MW Coom Green Energy Park in County Cork.

The site, an onshore wind development project located near the Bottlehill waste facility, has the potential to power the equivalent of 80,000 homes and displacing up to 150,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually. In addition, the plans includes provision for 50MW of energy storage. The development project is a 50:50 joint venture between Orsted and FuturEnergy Ireland.
With planning approval for the development granted, the next step for the scheme is to apply for a grid connection from EirGrid. The project comes with a community benefit fund of approximately β¬500,000 for the first 15 years, which will be put in place once the site is operational.
