Description:
On 5 June 2023, UNOPS and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), signed an agreement for the amount of USD 5.5 million to construct a vocational school in Yatta in the Governorate of Hebron, and procure the related equipment. The new collaboration between KOICA and UNOPS will support the Palestinian Ministry of Education and the Municipality of Yatta towards the establishment of the Yatta Vocational School with the purpose of advancing education in the area. Within the framework of the agreement, UNOPS will undertake the design and construction of the educational facility, in addition to the procurement and installation of the required furniture and machinery for the establishment of the vocational school.
