📋 Tender Overview
Scope :
The objective of the project is to realize the proper diagnosis and treatment of serious infectious diseases, prevent the spread of infection effectively, and develop human resources with knowledge of infectious disease control. It will do so through the construction of a state-of-the-art Royal Centre for Infectious Diseases (RCID) and the provision of medical equipment in Thimphu, thereby contributing to the strengthening of infectious disease control in Bhutan. This project will also contribute to the achievement of SDGs Goal 3 (Good health and well-being).
Facility construction/equipment procurement
Facility construction Wards, outpatient department, diagnosis department, training department, administration department
Equipment procurement Equipment required for infectious disease diagnosis and treatment
Consulting services
Detailed design work, bidding assistance, construction/procurement supervision, technical assistance for operation and maintenance of the facility and medical equipment to prevent healthcare-acquired infection (as guidance in managing the facilities)
