Scope of WorkConstruction of 67.5-MW Windy Standard III Wind Farm in Scotlands Dumfries and Galloway Council.DescriptionThe approval issued by the Scottish Ministers is tied to the construction of a 20-turbine wind park as an extension of the 21.6 MW-Windy Standard I and 75-MW Windy Standard II parks. Once the extra capacity goes online the complex will have 66 turbines totalling more than 150 MW the output of which will be enough to supply 131285 homes per year. According to the planning application filed with the assistance of renewable energy consultancy Natural Power allows it to erect 8 turbines with a tip height of up to 125 metres 410 ft each with a capacity not higher than 3 MW and 12 machines of up to 3.6 MW each with a base to tip height of up to 177.5 metres.
