Construct Culenco Wind Tender

Scope of WorkConstruction of 248-MW Culenco wind farm and install 60-MW lithium-ion battery storage system in the region of Nuble central Chile.DescriptionPLAN 8 Energa Infinita Ltda a Chilean affiliate of Germanys Plan 8 Gruppe sent the projects environmental impact statement EIS for review to secure a permit to erect the Culenco wind farm in the region of Nuble central Chile. Besides the wind farm portion the plans also include construction of the Culenco step-up substation within which PLAN 8 would install a lithium-ion battery storage system. The firm would invest some USD 300 million EUR 245.4m in the whole endeavour and start building in June 2025. Commissioning is seen 24 months later.
