Description:
This activity works to minimize disturbances in water and food to promote stability and security and prevent the displacement and migration of people. The activity works with government, civil society, and the private sector to pursue sustainable development options, with specific focus in the Tonle Sap area in Cambodia. It is implemented by the University of Nevada at Reno and will highlight the University's innovative Global Water Center to advance US research and business interests overseas. The activity is also working with the private sector arm of the US-founded and based National Geographic.
