The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to commence land acquisition new housing scheme is IT City.
LDA chairperson and divisional commissioner Roshan Jacob approved the proposal for land acquisition for the project during a meeting.
Land pooling and acquisition are on for IT City on Sultanpur Road for which compensation rates have been fixed and negotiation with farmers are in progress.
IT City will be developed on 2,086 acres between Sultanpur national highway and Kisan Path. It will include a hi-tech technology park, global business park, science and engineering equipment zone, and super-specialty medical zone. The project will have 4,025 residential plots of 200 sqm each. An industrial area of 360 acres and 64 acres for commercial activities are reserved. It will also have a 15-acre water body.
