Scope of Work:
Construction of Metro Line 2 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Description:
Line 2 is 11.3 kilometers long and will connect Ben Thanh Market in District 1 and ThamLuong Depot in District 12 through Districts 1, 3, 10, 12, TanBinh and TanPhu. The project includes a 2km elevated section and a 9.3km underground section and will have 11 stations, including 9 underground and 1 elevated, and a depot. The project will cost VND 47.9 trillion ($2.1 billion), with funding coming from official development assistance (ODA) funds and cities. The line will connect with the Ben Thanh – Suida Line 1, which VietnamPlus reports is currently 88.5% complete. Ho Chi Minh City's Metro Line No.2 (Ben Thanh-Tham Luong) is scheduled to complete in 2030.
