Scope : To Establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Research & Development (R&D) in the Energy Domain in India
The National Power Training Institute (NPTI) and PTC India have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a centre of excellence (CoE) for research & development (R&D) in the energy domain, with a focus on promoting sustainable development goals (SDGs).
The MoU was signed in New Delhi on 28 March, 2024 in the presence of Secretary, Ministry of Power, Pankaj Agarwal and officials of NPTI.
The outcomes of the CoE's R&D endeavours will be disseminated to the power sector through training and capacity building. Under the MoU, NPTI and PTC India will collaborate to undertake research, development, and knowledge sharing through the CoE.
