Project scope and objective
The Executive Hydroelectric Commission of the Lempa River (Comisión Ejecutiva Hidroeléctrica del Rio Lempa o CEL), an institution established under the laws of the Republic of El Salvador (the Commission ), is seeking financing to cover development costs (design, technical studies, environmental and social studies, implementation of meteorological stations, internal costs associated with execution of the projects, etc.) related to development activities for the potential implementation of wind energy projects in El Salvador, including the Metapán 100MW wind power project, which would be located in the northwest of the country (the Project ).
