ScopeThe Green Line will serve 28 stations and add 46km to Calgarys 59km light rail network. Construction on phase 1 comprising the central section through downtown and including the Centre City Tunnel is expected to start this year. Described by the city council as the top infrastructure priority for Calgary the Green Line is forecast to carry around 41 million passengers a year and will be the first light rail line in the city to use low-floor vehicles.
