📋 Tender Overview
Scope : A Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) was announced by Government of Odisha in Bhubaneswar Region covering the route from Bhubaneswar Airport to Trisulia Square and other areas of the city.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) was engaged for preparation of the Detailed Project Report for Metro Rail system from Bhubaneswar Airport to Trisulia Squar.
The length of the first phase of the project is 26 Kms and the estimated completion cost of the project is Rs. 6255.94 Cr, which will be borne entirely by Govt. of Odisha.
The entire Metro Corridor from Bhubaneswar Airport to Trisulia will be on an elevated corridor with 20 stations : Biju Patnaik International Airport, Capital Hospital, Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar Railway Station, Ram Mandir Square, Vani Vihar, Acharya Vihar, Jaydev Vihar, Xavier Square, Rail Sadan, District Centre, Damana Square, Patia Square, KIIT Square, Nandan Vihar, Raghunathpur, Nandan Kanan Zoological Park, Barang, Phulapokhari and Trisulia Square.
The maintenance Depot and the Command & Control centre of the Metro Rail system will be situated at Ratagada Lenkasahi (near Trisulia) over an area of 40 acres of Land.
The Metro Rail, Mo Bus and E-Rickshaw services will be synchronized to provide a comprehensive mobility to the Capital Region.

Package BCDD-02: Detail Design Consultant (DDC) for Architectural and Building Services including E&M, Traction works and Civil works for Depot and OCC building including proof checking of substructure for viaduct, special span including its superstructure and stations awarded to Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats Pvt. Ltd. (ICT),
Package BBC-03: Elevated Viaduct and Six Elevated Stations from Capital Hospital to Acharya Vihar Square awarded to Ranjit Buildcon Ltd. (RBL)
