scopeThe Barwon Heads Road Duplication project will duplicate four kilometres of road between Settlement Road and Reserve Road and investigate the potential for a further six kilometres from Reserve Road to Lower Duneed Road.The Barwon Heads Road Duplication willadd extra lanes between Settlement Road and Reserve Roadupgrade Settlement Road and Breakwater Road intersectionsinstall traffic lights at Crows Barwarre Marshalltown and Reserve Roads intersectionsbuild new cycling lanesinstall new street lighting road signage and drainage andplan for upgrades between Reserve Road and Lower Duneed Road.The 2019-20 Victorian Budget commits 318.3 million towards upgrading Barwon Heads Road which will see duplication of four kilometres of road and construction of a new bridge over the train line north of Marshall Station. 400000 is committed over the forward estimates towards planning the project.
