Scope of WorkConstruction of Baghdad Industrial City in Al- Nahrawan. DescriptionGovernor of Baghdad province had endorsed the projects designs. The project would host large and medium projects in food textile chemicals and metal sectors as well as offices warehouses and a residential project for workers it would be developed in five phases at a total estimated cost of 230 million. The project would create 50000 jobs and help relocate industries outside Baghdad to reduce congestion in the capital city. The 5-sq-km project to be completed within 7 years is located in Nahrawan east of Baghdad and will house key industries that will be moved out of the city.
