Objectives
O1: Coordinate a transnational and cross-sectoral collaboration for promoting environmental sustainability among students.
O2: Adopt participatory approach through co-creation methods.
O3: Increase the capacities of educators on permaculture and environmental sustainability.
O4: Increase the understanding of students on permaculture and environmental sustainability.
O5: Develop dissemination and valorisation strategies for impact, sustainability and exploitation of project across the EU.
Activities
a. Co-Creation Panel - 20 environment experts, upper secondary school educators and students.
b. PERMASCHOOL Curriculum.
c. A multilingual online platform (PERMASCHOOL HUB) & Activity Planning Tool.
d. 3 National Teacher Trainings.
e. 9 National Students Lessons (3 per partner country).
f. The development of the PermaSchool-Student projects.
g. 3 National Interschool PERMASCHOOL Fairs.
h. 1 Knowledge Acceleration Cinematography.
i. Dissemination to 300,000 relevant stakeholders.
Impact
PERMASCHOOL will result in utilising the Permaculture approach and principles to support educators and students to become actively engaged in climate-related political processes, thus reinforcing links between policy, research and practice. It will empower behavioural shifts regarding climate action and trigger a Permacultural approach and climate political engagement, addressing environment and fight against climate change, through dialogue and participatory co-creation.
