Ambudiruka Hydropower Tender

Scope :
Ambudiruka Hydropower Project is a 56MW hydro power project. It is planned in Madagascar.

It will be developed in a single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2024 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2026.

Description

The project is currently owned by Ministry of Energy, Hydropower and Fuel of Madagascar.

The project is expected to generate 320 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $98.466m.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.

Contractors involved

China Three Gorges is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the hydro power project.
