π Tender Overview
On June 9, the Zhuque-2 improved Yaoliu launch vehicle was ignited and launched into space at the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Test Zone. It successfully sent the Qianfan DTC01 satellite and the China Mobile 02 satellite into the predetermined orbit in a one-shot, two-star manner. The launch mission was a complete success.
The improved Zhuque-2 Yao-6 launch vehicle is a two-stage low-temperature extended liquid launch vehicle. The diameter of the rocket body is 3.35 meters, and the maximum diameter of the fairing is 4.2 meters. The technical status and test and launch process generally inherit the mature plan of Yaotai 5. It has a carrying capacity of 6 tons in low-Earth orbit and 4 tons in 500 kilometers of sun-synchronous orbit.
It is reported that this mission is the 8th flight of the Zhuque-2 launch vehicle. A number of technical improvements have been completed focusing on rapid mission response, satellite-rocket collaborative design, load environment optimization, reliability improvement, and cost optimization.
Among the two satellites launched this time, Qianfan DTC01 is operated by Shanghai Yuanxin Satellite Technology Co., Ltd.; China Mobile 02 is owned by China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd. and will conduct technical tests and verifications such as mobile broadband direct connection to satellites and space-ground network integration.
