This was stated today, October 29, 2026, by Minister of Economy Yuri Chebotar at a meeting of the Minsk City Executive Committee with the participation of delegates of the All-Belarusian Peoples Assembly from the capital region, where the interim results of the implementation of the Five-Year Plan Program this year were discussed.
The head of the economic department recalled that the 2030 Program is a comprehensive system of documents (20 state, 17 sectoral and 7 regional, 38 scientific programs), built around seven priorities, whose implementation is designed to ensure a new quality of life for people, the functioning of the economy and enterprises.
To achieve this goal, the Government placed special emphasis on increasing the internal sustainability of the economy by mobilizing available resources.Under the umbrella brand Regional Initiative, special loan products with a preferential rate have been introduced under the priorities of the five-year plan: Strong Regions, Technological Self-Sufficiency, Tourist Potential, New Products.In 9 months, financing of almost 200 investment projects worth 1.7 billion rubles began.Conditions have been created to support manufacturers, and for exporters, a mechanism has been developed to compensate transport and logistics costs.
Yuri Chebotar told the meeting participants in detail about the implementation of the key priorities of the program document, which ensured the sustainability of the economy, the creation of new social and transport infrastructure, and the growth of the populations well-being.
According to the Minister, an equally important result is that people feel positive changes.As follows from sociological surveys of the Academy of Sciences, compared to 2025, the degree of satisfaction with the socio-economic situation of the country has increased significantly, and an increasing number of citizens look to the future with confidence.Belarusians also notice concrete day-to-day improvements in the five-year plan priorities: the quality of roads, improvement of populated areas and much more.
Thus, the implementation of the priorities of the 2030 Program has already brought the first tangible results.
The primary focus of the economy on fulfilling the tasks of the five-year plan in 27 will ensure further growth in its quality, including increasing GDP, maintaining high dynamics of investment activity and the level of income of the population, summed up the head of the Ministry.
