Webuild Award Sustainability Tender

📄 Tender ID: 528588561 📅 Published: 07 Feb 2026

📋 Tender Overview

Webuild awarded as the best listed Italian company for its sustainability model based on reliable data and digital processes. Recognition awarded by the University of Pavia and LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) Italy, now in its seventh edition. Digital Twin, predictive analytics, and traceability systems reduce consumption, emissions, and waste at the Groups construction sites, while the ecosystem of strategic subsidiaries accelerates the adoption of circular practices and high-efficiency technologies throughout the supply chain. Webuild won first prize in the Listed Companies category at the Sustainability Report Award, Edition 2026, thanks to the quality and transparency of its Sustainability Reporting and particularly for its commitment to the decarbonization process, strategically supported by the pillars of innovation and digitalization. The recognition, now in its seventh edition and promoted by the Department of Economic and Business Sciences of the University of Pavia with LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) Italy, confirms the robustness of Webuilds reporting in translating complex climate goals into transparent and monitorable metrics. The recognition obtained confirms the strength of the path initiated by Webuild in sustainability reporting and highlights the maturity of a business model that structurally integrates decarbonization, transforming it into an essential driver of value for communities, territories, and stakeholders globally. The definition of a climate strategy supported by goals aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) demonstrates a transparent and structured approach to its decarbonization journey, reinforcing the Groups role in the transition towards more sustainable development models. This commitment finds concrete application in the works carried out by the Group - from infrastructure for sustainable mobility to major water and hydroelectric interventions, to green building solutions - capable of generating environmental benefits thanks to a perspective based on their life cycle. This approach promotes the development of integrated solutions for energy efficiency, optimization of water resources, and sustainable use of materials from the design phase, also supported by the adoption of international sustainability protocols such as LEED, GSAS, IS Rating, and Envision. In the Groups construction sites, technology plays a structural role in supporting sustainability, involving the entire supply chain and the controlled companies. Digital twin models allow for simulating impact scenarios before work begins; predictive algorithms help anticipate material needs, reducing excesses; traceability systems monitor the entire supply cycle, from extraction to implementation. Together, these solutions enable the optimization of processes, reducing consumption and emissions and minimizing the extraction of natural resources. An industrial model deeply rooted in the principles of innovation and sustainability, shared by all the companies in the Group. Among these, SELI Overseas, which applies high-efficiency excavation techniques and solutions to optimize the management of excavated materials; Cossi Costruzioni, which employs advanced methodologies for the structural monitoring of works; and WEM, which refurbishes machinery, including large TBMs engaged in some of the most complex European construction sites, from the AV Salerno-Reggio Calabria line to the Grand Paris Express, operating according to a widespread circular economy approach. Abroad, Lane, Clough, and CSC Costruzioni contribute to extending Webuilds standards even in the most challenging markets.
