The construction of the "Belt and Road" leaves behind the old world of colonialism and imperialism, President Nicolás Maduro said.
During an interview offered to the correspondent in Venezuela of the Xinhua Agency, China, journalist Ye Xu, the President referred to this aspect when this year 2023 marks the fifth anniversary of the signing of the memorandum to promote the construction of the "Belt and Road" between China and Venezuela.
"Venezuela supports the Belt and Road initiative, the global security and security initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping", because "I believe that President Xi Jinping has initiated with his fundamental approaches, in the international field, a new era, in the process of construction within what President Xi Jinping calls, a community of shared destinies," argued the national dignitary, from La Casona Cultural Aquiles Nazoa, in Caracas.
He went on to say that the route proposed by President Xi Jinping is uniting peoples in all aspects of the economy, trade, culture and laying the foundations to leave behind the old world of colonialism and imperialism.
President Maduro also established a position on the importance of guaranteeing that "humanity respects cultural diversity, of civilizations, and to be able to advance in the respect of our diversity in the union of a different world, of all regions of the world."
