📋 Tender Overview
EPS must inform the schedules and sectors where the work will be carried out for population forecasts. The National Superintendency of Sanitation Services (Sunass) recalled that, according to what was reported by Sedalib, the cleaning and disinfection of drinking water reservoirs is carried out until July 1 in the towns of Metropolitan Trujillo and from July 2 to 4 in the northern zone: Chepen, Pacanguilla, Paijan, Chocope and Puerto Malabrigo.
This could temporarily restrict drinking water. Given this, Sunass stated that the providing companies must promptly inform the user population of the hours and sectors where these tasks will be carried out, so that the necessary provisions can be made.
Meanwhile, users can report any non-compliance with the announced schedules or interruptions that have not been previously reported, in accordance with the provisions of the Quality Regulation of the Provision of Sanitation Services.
To do this, you can contact Sunass through its toll-free number 1899 or by calling 045-5189. The regulator urged the population to stay informed through the companys social networks and official channels where maintenance schedules are disseminated.
Reservoirs
The cleaning and disinfection programs for reservoirs, carried out by the providing companies, are essential to guarantee that drinking water is distributed in safe conditions and reaches homes adequately.
These actions are carried out periodically, generally twice a year, and include emptying, cleaning and disinfecting the reservoirs to eliminate sediments and contaminants, and ensure the quality of the drinking water provision.
