The Ministry of Social Development Mides signed an agreement with the Technological Laboratory of Uruguay LATU and the National Development Agency ANDE to strengthen the trajectories of the enterprises and social cooperatives of the social brand Provas. In February 2015 the Provas brand store was inaugurated at the MAM a space in which products from more than 100 enterprises are marketed under the management of the El Omb cooperative. In that line he recently entered the Espinaca childrens collection. The store has an electronic commercial management system that facilitates the generation of systematic updated and business information regarding sales and stock control.The virtual Provas catalog was also presented and a pilot project to market products and services through the Internet was initiated with the option that allows to know the processes and work trajectories. At the inter-institutional level work is also being carried out on the development of a Provas training program through the National Institute for Employment and Vocational Training Inefop.Fodde stressed that 12 years after the Productive Entrepreneurship program began more than 8000 projects received Mides support with raw materials tools and marketing spaces. Of them 75 are led by women. He added that after the implementation of the social monotax law 6000 enterprises were formalized.The Provas social brand emerged in 2014 at the initiative of Mides to strengthen the processes of self-management autonomy and empowerment of sectors in conditions of socioeconomic and territorial vulnerability. Between 2016 and 2017 in agreement with the LATU progress was made in addressing the brand regulations.
