JLL the nations largest third-party retail property manager has created its own retail brand Rose Loon debuting at Minnesotas most successful regional mall Rosedale Center in Roseville. In a firm-first JLL carefully curated the 4000-square-foot store from concept to brand and product merchandising to marketing and operations in an effort to drive leasing momentum and net operating income at the property.JLL manages leases and markets Rosedale Center and the Rose Loon and is the steward of its recent 80-million renovation that included the opening of Von Maur in October and a two-floor food hall called Revolution Hall in November. JLL is also launching the second phase of redevelopment of Rosedale by repurposing the vacated Herbergers box with pre-leasing efforts underway heading into ICSC NY. Phase two is proposed to feature 425 residential units a full-service hotel and an additional 200000-square-feet of retail dining and entertainment space incorporated into a village setting with an outdoor gathering place for entertainment.The firms new permanent experiential multi-brand Rose Loon store opened in late September and features high-quality locally made artisan goods and public workshop demonstrations hosted by Makers from across the Midwest.We seek to set the standard for retail innovation with this redevelopment from a new Von Maur to an incredible food hall and the opening of JLLs own retail store said Bill Moston SVP and Rosedale redevelopment lead for JLL. Makers workshops will be held in the retail space and give mall goers the opportunity to try their hand in creating their very own products. Launching with a carefully-curated product collection visitors can expect to see everything from glass blown light fixtures to handcrafted jewelry available for purchase.
