During the meeting, ways of increasing the volume of cargo transportation, improving logistics processes and ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of railway infrastructure in the region were discussed.
The participants of the meeting focused on the key challenges facing the industry, in particular the optimization of tariff policy, the development of railway units and improving cooperation between business and carriers. The possibilities of modernization of rolling stock and the introduction of innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of transportation were considered separately.
Increasing the volume of freight transportation by rail is a strategically important task for the region. We strive to create effective logistics that will promote business development and ensure a stable supply of critical resources. It is important that the railway meets modern challenges and remains a reliable partner for industry and agricultural sector. I believe that we will be able to significantly improve the situation in the industry, Vadim Sozonnik said.
According to the results of the meeting, the parties agreed to further cooperate and make joint decisions aimed at improving railway logistics and stimulating the economic development of the region.
