The team of the Ministry of Digitization continues cooperation and implements new large-scale projects with international partners. Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov met with the Chief Executive Officer of SAP Christian Klein within the framework of the World Economic Forum. During the meeting further support for Ukraine and implementation of technological solutions were discussed.In 2022 SAP provided Ukrainian customers with free software and cloud services support worth more than 30 million euros. During the first quarter of 2023 they will also be available for free.In addition SAP will provide about 1000 software licenses for the military needs of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.Cooperation with international companies is an important element of building digital stability and forming Ukraine as a digital state. We are grateful to our partners for the financial and technological support we receive at this extremely difficult time. In particular for the provided free licenses support for the IT industry and the Digital4Freedom initiative of the Ministry of Digital Affairs. Ukraine is now the best platform for testing the latest technologies not just in theory but in practice noted Mykhailo Fedorov.The company SAP supported the digital blockade of the Russian Federation and is gradually withdrawing from Russia. The next step is to stop providing IT consulting services to Russian clients from January 8 2023. From this day on support and service are also significantly limited.Along with this SAP supports the initiatives of the Ukrainian government in particular digital lendlease. Also SAP Ukraine recently became a resident of Diya.City.Since the start of the all-out war SAP has provided open access to SAP Ariba Discovery. This helped to ensure the arrival of basic humanitarian goods to Ukraine. In addition the SAP company transferred the leading cloud solutions for procurement to the non-governmental organization Enkidu Global which merged with the State Enterprise Medical Procurement of Ukraine. This ensured quick and efficient procurement of medicines and medical equipment for millions of Ukrainians in need of assistance.
